Job Summary: 
The Human Resources Intern will play a key role within the HR team.  Under the guidance and direction of an experienced and dynamic HR team, the HR Intern will have the opportunity to grow and learn in a hands-on role.  This position will work on projects that contribute to the execution of our HR strategy with an overall goal to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace where employees are inspired to perform their best work.  Through meaningful assignments and regular feedback and coaching, the HR Intern will develop skills and knowledge relevant for an emerging HR professional.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with management and HR team to attract, develop and retain employees
  • Supports benefits department by assisting with projects and the open enrollment process
  • Assists with implementation of HR technology initiatives including HRIS
  • Works on projects related to compensation benchmarking and analysis
  • Responsible for data management and analysis
  • Partners with the HR team to support projects related process improvement and updating of SOP's
  • Performs essential administrative task such as responding to emails, answering phone calls, and filing.
  • Assists with communication related to human resources initiatives, employee engagement programs and activities.
  • HR related special projects and analyses, as assigned.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Current student working toward completion of bachelor's degree or MBA (or recent graduate)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR information
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
