Aleron recently hired Jill Whalen Helms as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Helms most recently served as Vice President for Human Resources at AAA of Western and Central New York. She brings 15 years of human resources experience to her new role at Aleron.
In her role, Helms will lead and manage strategic human resource initiatives to align Aleron’s workforce solutions practices with its business strategy. As the leader of Aleron’s Human Resources Department, Helms will provide strategic direction for Aleron’s talent and organizational development plans, employee engagement, and benefits and compensation practices.
In addition to her experience at AAA, Helms was previously a Senior HR Business Partner Manager for New Era Cap. She has also held positions Rich Products as a Human Resources Generalist, and Perry’s Ice Cream as a Human Resources Consultant.
An East Amherst, NY resident, Helms is a board member of the University at Buffalo’s School of Management Alumni Association. She is also a member of several organizations, including the Buffalo Niagara Partnership Diversity and Inclusion Council, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Association for Talent Development. She holds Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, as well as an Executive MBA from UB.
