Michael Hensley

Michael Hensley serves as the Vice President of Business and IT Solutions at Lume Strategies, Inc., an Aleron company. As one of the founding members of Lume since its establishment in 2016, Michael has been instrumental in shaping the company’s technological vision and service offerings. 

In his current role, Michael is dedicated to delivering agile, comprehensive IT solutions and services to Lume’s clients. He leads a diverse team of technology professionals who provide expertise across a wide spectrum of IT disciplines, including managed services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, network infrastructure, and strategic IT consulting. Michael is also responsible for leading Aleron’s IT solutions, ensuring that both organizations remain at the cutting edge of technological innovation and cybersecurity. 

Michael’s extensive expertise in managing global IT infrastructure, implementing advanced security protocols, and driving technological advancements to support business objectives has been a cornerstone in delivering client success. By leveraging this experience, Michael ensures that Lume’s customers receive top-tier IT solutions that are both secure and innovative. In his oversight of Aleron’s global IT infrastructure, Michael ensures that the company’s technological foundation is robust, reliable, and capable of supporting its diverse business operations. His responsibilities include managing Aleron’s data centers, network systems, and cloud services, all while implementing advanced security protocols to safeguard Aleron’s assets and sensitive information. Michael’s strategic oversight ensures that Aleron’s IT infrastructure is not only efficient but also resilient against potential threats, thereby maintaining the integrity and continuity of the company’s operations. 

Prior to his current position, Michael served as Director of Global Infrastructure and Security, where he successfully managed international IT systems and implemented forward-thinking security measures that positioned both Lume and Aleron for sustainable growth in an evolving digital environment. 

Based at Aleron’s headquarters in Buffalo, NY, Michael continues to lead Lume Strategies’ IT initiatives, focusing on innovation, security, and operational excellence to help clients navigate technology challenges and leverage opportunities in an unpredictable world. 

Michael holds a Bachelor of Art in Business, a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. He also earned his MBA and holds various professional certifications in IT focusing on Networking and Cybersecurity.
