Responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of incoming receipts, preparing payments for cash application, and monitoring cash application activities to ensure compliance with company turnaround standards.

- Monitor and track daily incoming cash receipts to ensure timely processing
- Investigate and resolve account or funding issues in coordination with financial institutions
- Partner with customers and internal billing teams to obtain remittance details and resolve discrepancies
- Perform weekly and month-end reconciliations of cash accounts within the general ledger
- Prepare and organize cash receipts for posting and record retention
- Conduct customer account lookups to support accurate cash application
- Apply cash and post adjustments to customer and internal accounts as needed
- Support Collection Analysts by providing guidance on cash application and account-related inquiries
- Research accounts receivable history to resolve payment or posting issues
- Process manual deposits using remote deposit capture systems when required
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and support audit requests
- Crosstrain and support onboarding of new team members as applicable
- Safeguard sensitive financial information by maintaining strict confidentiality standards
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to management as requested
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of one year's experience in MS Excel
- Must have strong problem solving and written and verbal communication skills
- Must be detail oriented
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior Accounts Receivable or cash handling experience preferred but not required
