Aleron Sponsoring Two Exhibits at Local Buffalo Museums

As an organization firmly committed to supporting the local educational and arts scene in western New York, Aleron is proud to sponsor two exhibitions at museums in the Buffalo area. Exhibits will be on display at the Buffalo Museum of Science and Albright-Knox Northland Art Gallery throughout the waning months of 2021. Information on each exhibit can be found below.

  • Lost Beauty II: The Art of Museum Stories at Buffalo Museum of Science invites visitors to experience the Museum’s Collection through the eyes of an artist. The exhibition features a special selection of fifteen items from the Museum’s vast collection and, through the paintings of artist Alberto Rey, look beyond the scale, label, or fragment, to appreciate the lost beauty within. This exhibit will be on display from October 16, 2021 to December 31, 2021.

  • Difference Machines: Technology and Identity in Contemporary Art at Albright-Knox Northland brings together a diverse group of seventeen artists and collectives who creatively reimagine the digital tools that shape our lives. The exhibition includes projects that span the last three decades, ranging from software-based and internet art to animated videos, bioart experiments, digital games, and 3-D printed sculptures. This exhibit will be on display from October 16, 2021 to January 16, 2022.

At Aleron, our organization is committed to supporting the worthwhile causes of many local and national partners. Our commitment to these Buffalo museums—two educational staples in the western New York community—demonstrates our pledge to promote ongoing learning opportunities for all.
